A mission possible: having idea and find funds
2012 is a year in which there are still the signs of a difficult economic situation, which, among other things, make harder to access funds for new projects.
However, even if it seems strange and inconsistent with the premise, there are individuals who have cash reserves to be allocated to support innovative ideas and researches. To obtain their support is necessary, however, that your project is presented in a simple and convincing way.
As he wrote recently in an article on Economy (no. 13/2012) Richard Branson, great entrepreneur, founder of Virgin, the startupper tends to focus too much on technical and commercial aspects of the project rather than those of financial and legal. This omission, according to Branson, can be highly detrimental if, during the meeting with potential investors, you are not able to explain how you intend to structure (type of company), how to ensure the recognition of the funding (offering shares in the company) and, therefore, they are not allowed to figure out how to give his input.
Similarly, to gain access to funding, details should be made available, clear and complete as possible on your product and / or service, demonstrating the extent of innovation that differentiates them from what is already on the market.
Provide a vision of what the product can give in terms of sustainability, a concept that today is crucial in an economic environment where the quality and management of resources is one of the strengths.
Finally, you don’t forget that a truly innovative project requires many skills. So, you have to create a team capable and united, of which you must make clear to the investor, trying that next to you there are best people with which to make the project successful.
What we have seems obvious, but most often we overlook all the details that will allow you to reach those who have any means to believe in you.
TeamProStartup offers you his experience to give you all this advice without which what is a mission possible continues to be impossible.
